Ludwigsburg City Palace
Ludwigsburg City Palace
Ludwigsburg City Palace was built between 1734 and 1741 for the Prince's brother, Prince Ludwig Günther. After the Prince's death in 1767, Ludwig Günther moved to Heidecksburg Castle. Since then, the palace has served as the prince's drawing school. The princely natural history cabinet was housed in Ludwigsburg Castle until 1919. Today, the baroque three-winged palace complex is the seat of the Thuringian Court of Audit.
