Schmalkalden has one of the most beautiful and modern outdoor swimming pools in Thuringia in a convenient location with around 200 parking spaces.

It has a sports pool with 3 x 50 m and 3 x 25 m lanes and a diving tower with a 3 m platform and a 1 m diving board.

The adventure pool is a real attraction with its 310 m² water surface, 6 massage seats, 3 floor jets, 5 massage jets, 1 wide spout, 1 water mushroom and an 8 m long wide water slide.

For our younger bathers we have a separate paddling pool with 2 small children's slides, a children's playground, a large chess field, two table tennis tables and 3 beach volleyball courts. A newly built beach soccer facility invites you to play sports and games.

The outdoor pool is handicapped accessible and was awarded the gold medal "Menschfreundlich" (people-friendly) in 2004.
