The pond complex was created in 1966 on the western slope of the Aschenberg and serves as a local recreation area and fishing pond. The panoramic hiking trail leads hikers to this idyllic spot, as does the fascinating cycle tour between Bad Liebenstein and Breitungen. Active people can also reach the Stille Tal by using the AOK Aktiv circular route. Also highly recommended as a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the new spa gardens into the tranquillity.
