Piesau viaduct Lichte
The Piesau Viaduct is a railroad bridge in the Thuringian Forest that connects the village of Piesau with Lichte station. The bridge was built between 1889 and 1891 and is a technical monument. The viaduct is 237 meters long and 28 meters high and consists of 15 arches made of sandstone. The bridge is still used by regional trains today and offers a picturesque view of the Lichte valley.
