The Old Brewhouse houses the local history museum, which tells the story of the village from 1137 onwards. A collection of various exhibits documents the former work and life in Holzland. The pretty half-timbered building is the last remnant of the 300-year brewing tradition in Bad Klosterlausnitz. In addition to the permanent exhibition on local and everyday history, there are exhibitions by regional artists and lectures by the local history association several times a year. The museum is located in a completely renovated former brewery, which also houses a museum restaurant.
