Hainich climbing forest
Hainich climbing forest
It is the excursion destination for the brave in the World Heritage region: the Hainich climbing forest. With 120 climbing elements in ten courses, it provides plenty of action, fun and adventure.
The bravest dare to climb 18 meters high in the climbing forest. That's as high as if you were standing on the roof of a seven-storey building. But don't worry: you start slowly. The first climbing tour is only one meter high. You can easily manage that and then work your way up to the other routes, which become increasingly difficult. There are seven of them - with ropes, bridges and towers. But as your safety is at stake, the climbing experts will only let you climb some of the routes if you are tall and old enough.
