Laub's house
Laub's house
The Laubsche Haus is still one of the most beautiful and best preserved historical buildings in the town of Schlotheim. It has a low-Rhenish architectural style with very beautiful half-timbering and ornate decorations. It dates back to 1591 and, according to the chronicles, stood as a fort house in Volkenroda. It was later moved to Schlotheim. The Laubsche Haus is the oldest house in the town of Schlotheim.
The Laubsche Haus was completely renovated in 1994 as part of the urban renewal program.
