The Kienberghaus is a small inn directly above Uhlstädt. The path leads up quite steeply in serpentines. After the path, you are at an altitude of 321 meters. From the small terrace of the Kienberghaus, you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Saale valley towards Saalfeld and Rudolstadt. The village of Schloßkulm can be seen on the horizon. Above it you can see the Kulm broadcasting tower, which stands above Saalfeld.
