Then enjoy a nice Hainich time with us in Eigenrieden, a dreamy place in the middle of Germany, in the city triangle Mühlhausen - Bad Langensalza - Eisenach, not far from the Hessian-Thuringian border and close to the world heritage region "Wartburg Hainich". Here, in our small, over 750 years old village, you will meet warm people and you can enjoy typical village atmosphere.
Our surroundings, the Hainichland, is characterized by beautiful landscapes with meadows and fields, towns worth seeing and varied sights - and above all a lot of forest.
Almost directly on our doorstep is a unique beech forest that stretches almost 30 kilometers over the northwestern Thuringian mountain range, the Hainich. Our village is also the starting point of the traditional hiking trail Rennstieg, which runs along the entire densely forested Hainich ridge and right through the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, the Hainich National Park. In addition, the hiking trail across the historic Mühlhäuser Landgraben begins with us in Eigenrieden. No matter where you dive into our forest and enjoy it with all your senses: Here you can quickly forget the stress of everyday life.

Directly at the entrance to the village of Eigenrieden lies our small, lovingly designed vacation farm "Hainich-Zeit". In our three cozy apartments have a total of 12 visitors space. A rustic designed courtyard with sitting areas and the possibility to barbecue is available. On request, we can offer groups (from 8 people) homemade regional breakfast and dinner in our rustic fireplace room, our "Kuhstall".
