Between Schmalkalden and Steinbach-Hallenberg, the Inn "Zur Hechel" especially for hikers, cyclists and tourists passing through for a typical Thuringian dish.

The house offers a guest room with around 40 seats for any Family celebrations and a Terrace and a party tent with around 50-60 seatsThere is also a guest room for two people with an extra bed. A sufficient number of parking spaces are available in front of the house.

The menu includes a wide range of freshly prepared dishes that are available daily. In addition, the Catering service of the house has proven to be a stable mainstay over many years and has been able to impress with its high quality to this day.
