An "economy" with heart and esprit

The proximity to the theater gave our restaurant, the former cabinetmaker's shop "Hartmann", the name "Kulisse".

Since October 15, 1995, the Kulisse with its beautiful beer garden overlooking the castle is part of Altenburg's townscape. Our ambition is to be a meeting place for all who like to spend their (free) time in company and community in our inn.

With regional cuisine, Thuringian and international specialties we spoil our guests in a cozy atmosphere. In the cold season, the beer garden is transformed into a rustic, cozy winter palace with a rustic fireplace.

With events we always have surprises and variety ready for our guests.
