The Possen, once a princely hunting ground, is now a popular excursion destination in Thuringia in the Hainleite. Among other things, it is home to the 42-metre-high Possenturm tower, which is considered the oldest and highest half-timbered observation tower in Europe. Guests will also find a high ropes course, a climbing garden for small children, Germany's largest bouncy cushion and much more. The small zoo with cheetahs, brown bears, wild boars, emus, sika deer, red deer, meerkats and much more is also very popular. Not forgetting the large outdoor playground, the indoor playground and the petting zoo.
