Landkulturhof lucky charm
Landkulturhof lucky charm
Close to nature. Suitable for children. Experiential. Lucky.
The family-run Landkulturhof is the first port of call for nature-loving families and all those who want to spend a relaxing yet eventful vacation in the countryside.
In addition to relaxing nights in lovingly furnished, fully equipped vacation apartments and rooms, the resort located northwest of Rudolstadt enriches its guests' days with a wide range of great farm activities. Here, young and old are given the feeling of being really close to nature. Whether it's horse care followed by a short ride, feeding chickens and collecting eggs in the barn, tractor rides, getting to know all the farm animals up close, fruit picking and processing and much more. - It's not just about watching, but also taking part! The educational and enjoyable farm experience is geared towards the needs of children in every respect. It is not for nothing that the "Certified Thuringian Children's Farm" seal has been awarded. Young guests are invited to go on an adventurous exploration tour of the farm, especially on the regular Landkinder-Räuber day.
Weddings, church weddings, birthdays and other festivities are also offered here, "in the heart of Thuringia", a great location in a traditional half-timbered ambience and stylish vintage decoration that leaves nothing to be desired.
Tips:
The central location in the Free State is ideal for enriching your farm vacation with day trips to the surrounding area. Those who appreciate the majesty of the region can pay a visit to Heidecksburg Castle in Rudolstadt, for example. If you want to comfortably conquer altitude "by rail", travel to the Schwarzatal valley to the south and let the Thuringian mountain railroad scramble up the mountain peak with a magnificent view from the carriage into "Thuringia's herb garden". Nature lovers can also visit the newly designed Oberweißbach Olitätenstübchen in the Friedrich Fröbel Memorial Museum. Here, herb lovers and scent detectives can expand their knowledge of Thuringia's rich herbal tradition or gain new olfactory experiences at the scent shelves. The beauty, but also the arduousness of the work of the region's typical "humpbacked apothecaries" can also be experienced. Scent courses on the subject are offered at regular intervals.
