Our LAND Forsthaus is idyllically situated between forest and meadows at the adjacent Wisenta reservoir in the heart of the Thuringian Vogtland. The farm is located slightly away from the small village of Langenbuch near the town of Schleiz and is easily accessible via the A9 highway. The history of our house begins in 1769. The former Lower Forester's House was originally a farm with approx. 20 hectares of land and forest and was run and managed by the respective district foresters and their families. In 2000, we bought the forester's lodge in order to awaken it from its slumber and redesign it with lots of new ideas. Since then, we have gradually converted and extended our four-sided farm. Two sunny vacation apartments, one double and one single room as well as a spacious breakfast room and lounge with a small, fully equipped kitchenette have gradually been created for our vacation guests.
