The child-friendly campsite is located in a wooded area with plenty of lakes and has 35 pitches for short-term campers (tents, caravans, motorhomes).

The pitches are in loose formation on the large tent meadow right on the edge of the forest. Near the tent meadow (approx. 30 m) there are shower and toilet facilities with an attached dishwashing container and a disposal facility for chemical toilets. A small "Waldschänke" is waiting for your appetite next to the tent meadow. Here you can also order fresh bread rolls for breakfast. Next to it is a small forest stage where events for the whole family take place several times a year, including our annual summer and children's festival in July (please ask for the exact date). Here you can enjoy lunch from the goulash cannon, as well as freshly smoked trout and Thuringian grilled sausages.

Approx. 100 m from the camping facility is a beach at the house pond with a large sunbathing lawn and children's playground. Anglers also get their money's worth. You can go on endless hikes and cycle tours on well-maintained paths, and the surrounding forest with its many hidden forest ponds and diverse flora and fauna invites you to do so. With the necessary peace and quiet, you will be able to observe wild animals. Not only ornithologists are enthusiastic about the bird sanctuary.
