As early as 1750, the Neubeck family founded a laboratory in Rohrbach for the production of essences, tinctures, spirits, olities, pills, powders and herbal teas. Around the turn of the century, more than 25 women were employed by Neubeck to fill the specialties produced under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist into small medicine bottles obtained from the neighboring glassworks.

In Rohrbach, this valuable heritage from the time of the apothecary's garden is also to be passed on to the many guests who have rediscovered Rohrbach as a vacation and recreation destination. In 1997, the Neubeck family rebuilt the old Rohrbach pharmacy on the historic site and the laboratory in the rear building under a beautiful cross vault. As soon as you enter the building, you can smell the herbs and taste and of course buy the liqueur produced by hand according to original recipes.
