Töpferei Echtbürgel GmbH produces approx. 300 molds (Bürgel catalog) on the potter's wheel, with hand casting molds, as well as plates and the like on a punching machine. The range is supplemented with approx. 10 new molds every year. In addition, individual pieces and customer requests are produced as time permits. The majority of the ceramics are produced in the "Bürgelhaus" in Berlin and in another store in Binz.

The Echt Bürgeler workshop is located at Hintergasse 13, while the factory outlet is just a few steps away on the market square, in the premises of the former Eberstein/Hohenstein art pottery.

Anyone who would like to be there and experience how ceramics are created on the potter's wheel, shaped and then painted with a steady hand, has the opportunity to do so during the guided tours offered on weekdays (by appointment).

It takes hundreds of steps to produce the typical blue and white ceramics. Each vessel is unique and is influenced by the individual handwriting of the ceramists, the firing process and the characteristics of the raw materials.
