The "Walderlebnis" playground was newly created in the Nordpark in 2020/2021 on the occasion of the 2021 Federal Garden Show in Erfurt. It is located around 2 km north of the Krämerbrücke bridge and is easy to reach on foot or by bike along the idyllic Gera river. In addition to this, further playgrounds and a toilet facility, a skate park, further seating and barbecue facilities and an abundance of flower beds have been created in Erfurt's largest city park.
