Six-arch bridge/viaduct Weimar
Six-arch bridge/viaduct Weimar
The 152-meter-long six-arch bridge spans the Ilm Valley east of the city as a stone railroad viaduct. It was completed in 1875 and is part of the Weimar-Jena railroad line. This was already put into operation in 1876. The best view of the bridge is from the Ilmtal cycle path from the direction of Tiefurt. The six-arch bridge has a height of 38 meters and is thus the largest bridge in the city.
