The Craulaer Kreuz hiking parking lot is the starting point for the Craulaer Kreuz and Sperbersgrund circular hiking trails and the World Heritage Trail. A cycle path also runs along here. The Hainichbaude is a hearty place to stop for refreshments and has an accessible toilet.
