The large and beautiful parking lot not far from the National Park Center with his Treetop path is a good starting point for UNESCO Hainich National Park on foot or by bike. For a parking fee, 280 parking spaces are available for cars, 30 motorcycles, eight buses and eleven motorhomes. A charging station for electric cars is located directly in the parking lot, parallel to the road. The Thiemsburg bus stop on route 150 from Eisenach and the National Park bus 154 from Bad Langensalza also stop directly at the parking lot. The toilets are located approx. 50 m from the National Park Center.
