There is much to discover in the Loh, a "little wood" on the outskirts of Buttstädt.

In addition to the play and adventure trail, the quiet location promises harmony with nature. This is reinforced by the playgrounds and figures, which are thematically incorporated into the forest. This is complemented by information boards with information on the regional flora and fauna. Thus the forest becomes experiencable and offers occupation with its ecosystem. Not to be forgotten are the legends of the three Lohjungfern and the Lohlaterne, which also accompany the path system. 

To linger and listen to nature, the numerous seating options provide suitable opportunities. 

In 2018, the circular paths were upgraded thanks to the intensive participation of citizens, the elementary school "Sophienschule" Buttstädt and the city of Buttstädt.
