Tettau
Tettau is a municipality in the district of Kronach in Bavaria. It is located in the Franconian Forest Nature Park at the foot of the Rennsteig and on the Bavarian Porcelain Route. Tettau was first mentioned in a document in 1269 and belonged to the Lordship of Lauenstein. The municipality is known for its glass and porcelain industrywhich has existed since the 18th century. The sights include the European Flacon Glass Museum, the Tropical house and the Ad Portam Coeli and Christ the King churches. Tettau has eight municipal districts and around 2,400 inhabitants.
