The hamlet Plinz is a district of the municipality of Milda in the Saale-Holzland district of Thuringia. The municipality and the hamlet are located in the middle Saale valley on a plateau and yet in a hollow in the romantic Leutragraben.

In the small hamlet, the building of the former Plinzmühle today a small Gallery for art objects and ceramics. Outside the mill there is a publicly accessible Sculpture garden. The themed areas designed with humor and an eye for the unusual by mill resident and artist Jochen Bach, such as the Garden of Crooked Wood or the Garden of Intoxication, offer visitors wonderful photo opportunities and surprising journeys of discovery.
