St. Anne had been on the Annaberge, named after her, for many centuries. The miraculous image of St. Anne, which was kept and venerated in a very beautiful chapel, had to be transferred to Struth. This was because the landowners banned the large processions in 1854 after the Zella convent was dissolved in 1811. The chapel was then demolished in 1870. After the Second World War, the estate was expropriated and divided into farms, which, as was customary at the time, belonged to the agricultural cooperative.

Every year on St. Anne's Day, June 26, a community festival is held on the Annaberg festival meadow. Not only the residents of Annaberg, but also numerous visitors from the surrounding villages still honor St. Anne today.
