Töpen
Töpen
The municipality of Töpen is a 700-year-old community on the former inner-German border.
The village of Mödlareuth, which was divided in two by the border wall, became a particularly depressing document of the German present.
Today, Töpen is a friendly residential community surrounded by green meadows, fertile fields and extensive forests in the
Bavarian Vogtland. From Petersgrad, a striking vantage point with a steep cliff face, the charm of the Saale valley is revealed.
The proximity to the Frankenwald and Fichtelgebirge nature parks and the city of Hof offer considerable residential and recreational value.
The municipality is located directly on the B 2 at the intersection of the A 9/A 72 freeway.
Dennree (food wholesaler and organic market) has settled here, and further commercial space is available.
Folk music and down-to-earth customs have been preserved in the municipality to this day.
All infrastructure requirements are met. A modern sports hall, a swimming pond and clean hiking trails in the fresh forest air
offer ideal opportunities for physical activity and relaxation.
