Misserode is a hamlet-like district of Schimberg in the Eichsfeld district of Thuringia. The village is located two kilometers west of Ershausen in a hollow of the Misseröder limestone ridge in the hilly agricultural area of the southern Eichsfeld. The village is connected to the surrounding villages via district road 114 and state roads 2027 and 1007.
