The municipality of Wernburg is located on the edge of the Orlasenke to the south of the town of Pößneck. However, the well-developed infrastructure does not lack its village character. The St. Vitus Chapel, built in 1506, is a small attraction in the village. The local sports club has a sports ground with a bowling alley, sports hall and sports field. The highest elevation in the village - the Seebach district with the Buchtahöhe - is scenically attractive. From here, you can set off on excursions in the surrounding area. The village square was designed as the center of the village and is often used for traditional celebrations.
