Roth
Roth
The church village is nestled in the foothills of the two Gleichberge mountains in the Milz valley. Roth was first mentioned around 1198 as the deserted village of "Roda".
Most of the residential buildings are timber-framed. The "Großer Gleichberg" with its predominantly oak and beech trees, the agriculturally used valley of the Milz and orchards characterize the landscape around the village.
