Surrounded by the districts of Zeulenroda-Triebes lies the independent municipality of Langenwolschendorf in the Vogtland region.

With an impressive length of 3.5 km, the village does not bear its name for nothing. Every year, the community invites visitors to the famous lime tree festival. For centuries, the lime tree was a popular meeting place in the village center. The restored manor house of the former manor is located in the center of the village. 

Also worthwhile for visitors and guests is a detour to the "Schönen Höhe", 492 m above sea level. From here, there is a fantastic view from the ridges of the slate mountains to the area of the former "Wismut" pyramids near Ronneburg.
