Eßleben-Teutleben
Eßleben-Teutleben
Until 1974, Eßleben and Teutleben were considered independent villages. However, the state felt that this was too small, so it was decided to create one town with two districts.
Formerly characterized by various trade routes and modern agriculture and livestock farming, the town now boasts numerous local private companies in a wide range of sectors.
Associations, clubs and many committed citizens actively shape local life. The appearance of the community centres, sports facilities, public squares, paths, streets, churches and ponds has also been modernized.
The adjacent forests of the Finne mountain range, which rises over 100 meters above the basin landscape, offer a magnificent view of the Thuringian basin. And if you listen, you are guaranteed to hear the ICE train rushing in or out of the Finne tunnel.
