Rositz is a town in Thuringia, located 5 km northwest of Altenburg in the Leipzig lowland bay. Rositz is the seat of the administrative community of Rositz, which includes the municipalities of Lödla, Monstab, Kriebitzsch and Rositz.

In addition to the municipalities in the administrative community, the towns of Altenburg and Meuselwitz are located in the surrounding area.
