"Small but nice", that's how it applies to the community of Tottleben. Tottleben is located northwest of the spa town of Bad Tennstedt in a small stream valley on the edge of the Heilingen mountain range. In terms of population, the village is one of the smallest communities in our administrative community.

In 1991 Tottleben was one of the founding communities of the VG Bad Tennstedt.

The village life and the sense of community of the inhabitants are very strong, and the local associations organize sports and cultural events throughout the year, to which the inhabitants and guests are cordially invited. The tradition of bringing in the Whitsun May is maintained.

Tottleben is also one of the founding members of the Landleben Foundation, which was established in 2011 and is based in Kirchheilingen.

The manor house, a brick building with a basement, was built around 1900.

The newly laid out estate park with its romantic paths, the small wooden bridges, the rich variety of woody plants and the analemmatic sundial, where man himself is the pointer, the pretty little village church and the Kneipp treading pool directly on the K² cycle path in the immediate vicinity of the village are the destinations worth seeing. The attractiveness of the park is to be increased by a small alpaca enclosure.

Recreation and relaxation can be found in the nearby Tottleber Tal. The "Reiterhof am Hopfenberg" offers riding lessons and riding vacations.
