The Mellerschter Schafhof is an arable farm in the Naturlandverband and had a small but fine herd book breeding of Southdown and Coburg Fox sheep until the end of 2019. Since giving up sheep farming, it has been collecting and processing regional wool of various breeds.

The farm store dates back to the time of sheep farming, where you can buy things made from sheep that are as regional, traceable and organic as possible: from sheep's milk chocolate and soap to clothing for young and old. Carpets, blankets, cushions and furs are also available, of course.
