Skittle bridge Weimar
Skittle bridge Weimar
The cone bridge is a stone structure that spans the Ilm north of the city palace in a north-easterly direction. A city gate of the medieval city fortifications, the Kegeltor, was located there. The former wooden bridge was rebuilt as a stone bridge in the 18th century. Today, the Kegeltor bridge is an important part of the transport link from south to east.
