Old Thuringian baking art reinterpreted: The Pâtisserie Bergmann café serves artful tarts, traditional cakes as well as fine tarts and macarons. Here you can enjoy a world of sweet delicacies in a tasteful ambience and surrounded by warm family hospitality.

The modern country-style café is located in the former barn of a half-timbered four-sided farmhouse. Whether unusual or classic cake creations - Doreen Bergmann not only bakes according to given recipes, but also creates her very own. Everything that leaves the bakery here is made with dedication and passion. It is therefore not unusual for Doreen Bergmann to have three times as many guests on Sundays as the entire population of the town.

The ingredients are almost exclusively sourced locally or grown on the premises. If you would like to make your own chocolates or practise the art of baking bread, there are regular workshops in the pâtisserie. The latest perennial favorite: bridal breakfasts and praline courses for brides-to-be to surprise wedding guests with homemade gifts.
