Ufhoven is the largest district of the town of Bad Langensalza and has 1476 inhabitants (as at 31.12.2019). The town of Bad Langensalza and the district of Ufhoven have grown together and merge into one another.
After being incorporated into the town of Langensalza in 1950, Ufhoven was spun off again in 2019 and has been an independent district ever since.
In addition to the lime tree on the Sülzenberg, which is around 400 years old and is considered a landmark of the district, Ufhoven is known beyond its borders as a village of roses. Even today, a local rose farm continues the long tradition of roses in Ufhoven.
