Dielsdorf is a district of Schloßvippach in the district of Sömmerda and has just under 300 inhabitants. The village was first mentioned in a document in 1197 under the name Dilstorp. Dielsdorf was incorporated into the municipality of Schloßvippach in 1974 and will celebrate its 825th anniversary in 2022.

Dielsdorf has a rural character and is located directly on the supra-regional Laura cycle path.
