Alpacas & Llamas are no longer exotic animals from the southern hemisphere. The furry animals have also found a place in our latitudes and can be seen, stroked and familiarized with in many places. A very special place for this is the Farm for alpacas and llamas on the Red Mountain in Unterwellenborn near Saalfeld in Thuringia. The owners have dedicated themselves to the species-appropriate breeding and care of these good-natured four-legged friends. The farm is now home to 13 alpacas (11) and llamas (2), which can be used in various animal-assisted activities and events, such as Alpaca hikes, kindergarten & school projects, children's birthday parties, alpaca photo shoots, pasture picnics & co. into the heart. In the in-house store you can also buy some nice products related to the fluffy cloven-hoofed animals. If a short visit is not enough (which is very likely, once you have made friends), you can even book a Take over a sponsorship, The sponsor can support their favorite animal in the long term and contribute to the continued existence and expansion of the beautiful farm.
