It was love at first sight when we discovered the beautiful animals at the Erfurt "Green Days" in 2006. Since then, the small petting zoo at the veterinary clinic in Erfurt-Gispersleben has grown to include alpacas as well as donkeys, goats, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and tarantulas. Our first cria was born just six months later.

The small herd has been growing ever since, along with our growing enthusiasm for these noble animals. Our pastures on the Fahner Heights, north of Erfurt, offer the animals plenty of space. We have also specialized in the veterinary care of a number of alpaca breeders and hobby owners in our area for several years.

There is an old saying from the Andes:
"If you look an alpaca in the eye for too long, you will be captivated by it forever."
