The Anger is located in the center of Niederdorla, the geographical center of Germany. Two stone tables stand in the middle of the small park. Every year, the people of Vogte celebrate their traditional festivals on the village green. A visit is particularly worthwhile at Whitsun and during the funfair, when the locals maintain the customs handed down from their ancestors. The Anger is bordered by St. John's Church and the Fickentor, one of the last remaining village gates in Thuringia.
