Arboretum Bad Langensalza
Arboretum Bad Langensalza
The "Arboretum" tree park is constantly changing its blossoms, making it worth a visit at any time. Depending on the weather, half a million early bloomers will stretch out towards the sun from the end of March. Afterwards, new flowering plants such as fire bulbs, giant lilies and wild gladioli provide a colorful sea of blossoms. In summer and late summer, dahlias, marigolds and vanilla flowers, autumn asters and roses will present themselves. With autumn crocuses, which bloom from September to October, the arboretum will bid farewell to the winter break on October 31.
In the arboretum, visitors can not only explore nature and art, but also walk along the paths of the town's history. These include the Hanover Monument, which commemorates the Battle of Langensalza in 1866, the peace pole erected in 2009 and the Gottesackerkirche "St. Trinitatis" church from 1734, which is used as a concert church.
