The Gebaberg is one of the places in the Rhön Star Park that is least affected by the light pollution of urban areas. Due to the dark night sky and the altitude of approx. 740 m above sea level, an observation point with 4 platforms has been set up here, where astronomical equipment for observing the sky can be set up and operated.
