The Via Regia viewpoint with its striking tower offers a sweeping view of the landscape of the Haunetal, the Hochrhön and the Hessian Kegelspiel.

The modern metal and concrete construction on the Rößberg is 7.5 meters high and offers a 25 square meter viewing platform. It offers a sweeping view of the Neuhofer mountains, the Haunetal valley, Burghaun, the mountains of the Hessian Kegelspiel and the historic route of the Via Regia, which gave the viewing tower its name. 

It is located on the premium hiking trail Extratour "Weinberg".
