The Flaschenturm - colloquially known as the „bottle“ - was built around 1800. Four-metre-thick walls bear witness to its function as a Romanesque residential and defensive tower and dungeon. Today, the tower houses the remarkable panorama „From Eisenach to Saxon Switzerland - 560 kilometers in 20 meters“ by Anthony Lowe with a light and sound installation.
