Bebendorf is a district of Geismar in the Eichsfeld district of Thuringia. The village is located directly on the state border with Hesse at the south-eastern foot of the Hülfensberg. Geismar lies to the north behind the Hülfensberg, Döringsdorf immediately to the east and the nearest town of Wanfried in the Werra valley around two kilometers to the south. Eschwege is around seven kilometers away to the southwest. The district can be reached via district road 115, which connects the districts around Hülfensberg with Geismar and Wanfried.
