Bischofferode
Bischofferode
Bischofferode is gently nestled in a flat basin of the small river "Bode". To the south, the village borders on the Ohm Mountains, which are characterized by their steep cliffs, magnificent viewpoints and heights of up to 397 m above sea level. The former potash plant, which was closed on 31.12.1993, was structurally dominant here for decades alongside agriculture.
