The 21 meter high Bicmarck tower rises on a wooded porphyry cone. It is a popular destination from where you can see the picturesque Saale valley, the witnesses of the Wettin coal mining, the Petersberg and in very good weather also the Brocken. A new exhibition is installed in the tower itself at the start of each season.
