The visitor center with information, ticket and souvenir store as well as a small bistro is located on the forecourt of the Leuchtenburg. In addition to various coffee specialties, teas and cold drinks, small snacks are offered all year round during opening hours. The visitor center itself has seating for around 20 people. The adjoining sun terrace has room for around 15 people. The panoramic view of the Thuringian Saale valley and the Thuringian Forest is unique. In good weather, you can see the peak of the Inselsberg.

The visitor center is accessible free of charge and barrier-free.
