The Lumpzig trestle windmill, built in 1732, is the last surviving one in the Altenburg region and is also one of the oldest trestle windmills in Thuringia. interesting technical changes were made to the mill while it was still in operation, the likes of which can only be seen in very few trestle windmills today. This special feature gives the mill a high monumental and industrial-historical value.
